Exceeding the safety standards of DOT FMVSS 218, ECE 22.06, and FIM FRHPhe-01, the Thunder Carbon is one of the few helmets to earn the FIM FRHPhe-01 certification on a retail helmet. The holographic logo on the chinstrap verifies its compliance.
The optically correct 3mm flat shield can be swapped quickly and easily using tool-less quick release technology. Equipped with tear-off posts and the Pinlock system, this race-ready shield provides exceptional fog resistance.
For a secure and comfortable fit, the Thunder Carbon utilizes a traditional "Double-D Ring" strap. The snug yet comfortable fit is designed for long endurance races or high-speed jaunts, ensuring a "200 M.P.H. fit."
